I’m not sure about it, as any dream comes true, we’ve already discussed it. A man’s home is his wife’s castle. When you think of accommodation, you probably imagine a warm bed in a room with some other furniture lying around, a TV, a bathroom and maybe even some rugs on the floor. There is no place more delightful in our homes than our own bedrooms. As any person spends about 1/3 of life in what way??? Of course, sleeping! So you bedroom and bed particularly ought to be as comfortable as possible. Don’t forget about 1/3 of life, when buying a bed for your bedroom. As if you buy a bad bed, well, you will spend one third of your life in tortures. Do you want it? I guess no. Because a comfortable bed is like bad habits, it is easy to get into, but hard to get out of. Believe me, if you want to get out of bed in the morning do don’t have bed like those below.

This amazing bed is for the record books. I know this is not furniture any of us will have, or even see for a long time, but here is just the way things are going in this day of technological advancement. Dutch architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars worked for six years to develop this floating black platform using opposing magnets that repel each other to create the world’s first floating bed / dining table. Ruijssenaars was inspired by the mysterious monolith in Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 cult film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The Circolo bed is a contemporary round bed. “Joie de vivre” is used to describe this unique creation, as its playful shape and flexibility inspires a bevy of possibilities. A round mattress combined with a rectilinear headboard creates a striking but harmonious contrast.

The pointy edges of this unusual and stylish bed frame require for the bed to be hanged and suspended with strings upward the ceiling. Suspension allows for the gentle rocking of the bed and in theory, it encourages a better slumber, much like how it was when adults were babies.

The Las Vegas architect Alberto Frias has designed quite an unusual bed. The sleeping pod, or The Transport is made out of fiberglass and features built-in speakers, nice ambient LED lights – and a price tag that has very many zeros. The actual price is $10 000. This bed was designed to be simple and unique, comfortable and with a high regard to aesthetic aspects. This one of alternative bed designs to decor your bedroom.

On a recent trip to the High Point Furniture Market I saw the Bonaldo “Squaring” fully upholstered platform bed by designer Guiseppe Vigano. At first glance this elegant low profile bed is different with it’s two low cushioned benches for sitting, lounging or displaying objects which is perfect to be positioned in the middle of the room if space allows.

Also I would advise you to check out this “Scoop” circular sofa/bed from Italian manufacturer Saba. It’s a unique approach to the whole sleeper-sofa thing.

People usually are the happiest at home. A comfortable house is a great source of happiness. It ranks immediately after health and a good conscience. So as you can see, no money is better spent than what is laid out for domestic satisfaction. Because you will never live happily in a house that is not you home. As you home should be your retreat and resting place from “wars”. You should try to keep this corner as a haven against the tempest outside, as you do another corner in my soul.

We have already discussed curtains and blinders question, I mean how to choose ones that suit your home. Also we saw some new products of Maytag Company. Now I would like to pay your attention to another company. You know it for sure as it is Ikea, the company that originally produces and sells kitchens. Ikea Company now has kitchen appliances “Ikea kitchen appliances by Whirlpool” in their stores and we are interested in refrigerators right now. As refrigerator is a meaningful part of your house. It’s a meaningful part of your kitchen, where you spend a lot of time.

Ikea appliances offer top quality, design and performance at quite reasonable prices. After all it makes perfect sense to shop for kitchen cabinets and appliances in the same time. This is the first year that Ikea jumped into the appliance market in such an integrated and coordinated way.  All of Ikea’s appliances are now designed by them and manufactured exclusively for them by Whirlpool. The old house stood empty and alone, neglected and worn by time. Tattered pink curtains, wafted in the fall breeze from behind the windows blind. Broken promises and shattered dreams, this old house seemed to scream. Gone are the children, the husband and wife that brought this hollow wooden vessel life. Lonely house which used to be called “home”, now just sits in silence and decays.

The choice of blinds, shutters, curtains is really important. You didn’t know that they influence much your mood and house atmosphere, I will try to convince you of this.

So, with keys to your marvelous new home in your hands, you open the doors and….ooops….there is nothing in it…it’s empty…well, nothing strange as it’s a new house, that you have just bought, don’t forget about this condition of my story. But let’s dream further…I can tell you that there is nothing more pleasant in this world than the realization of your dreams. It’s even better when your house is empty, as it’s ready to become a house of your expectations, a house that will be decorated according to your tastes.

This is where you ask, “What should I buy to feel in this place like at home?” Ordinarily, that’s when you discover that you still have a lot of shopping to do. This news comes as a shock to many first-time home buyers. But I can bet, you have thought about all items you will need when moving into a house. You haven’t? Well, let’s see what are the first things to buy? It sure would be nice to have a list of all this stuff. Like things you would need right away, furniture will come later. I offer you the following checklist:

* Window Coverings (window blinds and/or curtains).

* All bath supplies.

* Keys and locks.
